We care for the environment, and we
contribute by recycling as much waste
product as possible and minimising landfill,
last year more than 95% of our waste product
was recycled, examples are as follows:
- 100% of cardboard packaging goes to
recycling.
- 100% of plastic packaging goes to
recycling.
- 100% of bricks, old wall and floor
tiles and rubble are recycled into
hardcore.
- All wood is saved where it can be
reused or scrap wood is donated to the
elderly for fire wood.
- 100% of paper, including fliers
received and office paper is recycled.
- Old taps from bathroom
refurbishments are saved and given to
the less fortunate or where they are not
salvageable they are recycled for their
brass content.
- 100% of copper and brass waste from
plumbing and electrical installations
are recycled.
- 100% of solvents are disposed of at
recycling centres - not down the drain.
- 100% of fluorescent light fittings
are sent to designated disposal sources.
